Privacy Policy
Short version: I collect as little as possible, I never sell your data, and you can have it deleted any time by replying to one email.
Who runs this
Local Pockets is a product of Tam Tam Corp FZE LLC, registered in the United Arab Emirates. For anything about your data, the data controller is reachable at hello@localpockets.com.
What I collect
- Your email address, when you ask for the free sample or buy a guide. That is the only personal detail I actively store.
- Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe at checkout. I never see or store your card number. I only receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the email you paid with.
- Anonymous usage stats, which pages are viewed and roughly how the site performs. This is cookieless and not tied to your identity.
How I use it
- To deliver the PDF you bought, or the free sample you asked for, by email.
- To send you the occasional note when a new volume comes out. No daily emails, no pressure. Every email has an unsubscribe.
- To understand which guides and pages people find useful, so I can make better ones.
Who I share it with
Only the processors that make the service work, and only what they need:
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Resend, to send the delivery and sample emails.
- Vercel, which hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics.
I do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone, ever.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. The analytics are cookieless. During payment, Stripe's checkout may set its own cookies needed to process the transaction securely; those are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
How long I keep it
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove it. Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax. Analytics are aggregate and retained by Vercel on a rolling basis.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the UK, or anywhere with similar rules, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or to stop emails entirely. Just reply to any email from me, or write to hello@localpockets.com, and I will sort it out promptly. No forms, no hoops.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be obvious.
